1. Who we are and what you accept

PokerStudy (pokerstudy.app and app.pokerstudy.app) is a service provided by Daniel González Punzano, whose details are given in the legal notice. By creating an account you accept these terms and confirm that you have read the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Requirements

• Being at least 18 years old.
• One account per person. Your account is personal: do not share it or hand it over to anyone.
• Providing a real email address and keeping your password secret. You are responsible for whatever is done from your account.

3. What PokerStudy is (and isn't)

PokerStudy helps you study: spaced review of ranges, mental maths, equity, bankroll tracking and other tools. Ranges, calculations and simulations are for guidance and training purposes only: they are not financial advice and do not guarantee any result at the tables. The decisions you make when playing are yours alone.

4. Plans

Free plan

It includes the app's core features with these limits:

• Up to 12 ranges of your own in Study (folders don't count), plus any extra ranges you earn through rewards. If you delete one, you get the slot back.
• 10 calculations a day in the simulations (Variance and Risk of ruin), plus any extra calculations you earn through rewards.
• Presets: only the Open Raise family at 20 bb.
• Reviews of your active ranges are always free.

Pro plan

It removes those limits (ranges with no practical limit, every preset family and depth) and gives you priority on heavy calculations. Up-to-date details of what each plan includes are at pokerstudy.app.

7-day trial

When you sign up you get 7 days of Pro for free (10 days if you sign up with a friend's link or code), with no card and no commitment. One trial per person: creating new accounts to repeat it is not allowed. When it ends, you move to the free plan automatically, with no charges.

If you stop being Pro

When your trial, gift code or subscription ends and you have more than 12 ranges, your most-reviewed ranges automatically stay active, up to your free plan's maximum (12, plus any extra ranges you have earned), and the rest are frozen: you can still see them, but you can't study or edit them. Nothing is deleted. If you go back to Pro, everything is unfrozen.

5. Pro subscription: price, payment and renewal

• Reseller: our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it sells you the subscription, charges you, issues your invoice and handles questions about payments and refunds. By paying you also accept its buyer terms.
• Prices: those shown when you subscribe, taxes included.
• Automatic renewal: the subscription renews at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) until you cancel it. We will email you before each yearly renewal.
• Founder price: if you get it, you keep it for as long as your subscription stays active without interruption. If you cancel and come back later, the price in force at that time applies.
• Price changes: we will give you at least 30 days' notice; they will only apply from your next renewal and you can cancel beforehand if they don't suit you.
• Failed payments: if a charge fails, you keep Pro for 7 days while it is retried. If it isn't resolved, you move to the free plan (see "If you stop being Pro").

6. Cancellation, withdrawal and refunds

• Cancelling: at any time, from My account → Manage subscription, in a couple of clicks. You stay Pro until the end of the period already paid for and you won't be charged again.
• Right of withdrawal: as a consumer, you have 14 calendar days from subscribing to withdraw without giving any reason. Since by paying you ask to start using Pro straight away, we refund what you paid minus the proportion corresponding to the time you have enjoyed until you tell us.
• Outside that period, periods already started are not refunded, except where the law requires it or where we close the service or your account without you having breached these terms (in that case, we refund the unused proportion).
• To request a refund, email pokerstudy.soporte@gmail.com or use the link in your Paddle invoice email.

7. Rewards and gift codes

In the app's Rewards section you can earn perks: days or hours of Pro, extra calculations and extra ranges. These are the rules:

• Inviting friends: every account has a personal link and code. Whoever signs up with them gets a 10-day Pro trial instead of 7. When your friend uses the app on two different days during their first week, you get 3 days of Pro, 10 extra calculations and 2 extra ranges, up to a maximum of 10 friends a year. Only new accounts of real people count: your own accounts don't count, nor do accounts re-created after deleting another with the same email, nor those using temporary email addresses.
• Other rewards: for example, when you create your account or when you give us your feedback inside the app. The rewards on offer at any given time are shown in the app itself.
• Gift codes: we may hand out codes that give Pro for a period of time or extra calculations. When you redeem them, the reward is stored in your Rewards section.
• Activation and expiry: rewards are kept unactivated for up to 30 days (you'll see the deadline) and you activate them whenever you want. Extra calculations are used after the 10 daily ones, expire 7 days after you activate them and you can hold at most 50. Extra ranges don't expire, up to a maximum of 10. Any Pro you activate is added to whatever you already have.
• Rewards and codes are personal, have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, sold or transferred, and give no right to a refund.
• We may change or withdraw the rewards programme at any time. Whatever you have already activated is honoured until it expires.
• If we detect abuse (fake accounts, inviting yourself or any trick to obtain rewards), we may cancel the rewards obtained that way and, in serious cases, close the account.

8. Acceptable use

You may not:

• Download or copy the app's content (ranges, presets, library) in bulk or by automated means in order to redistribute or resell it.
• Share your account, resell access or create several accounts to get around the limits, repeat the trial or obtain rewards for inviting.
• Try to get around the plan limits, access other users' data, attack or overload the service (for example, with automated requests to the calculations), or reverse-engineer it.
• Store data in your notes that identifies other people (real names, photos). Use aliases.
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose.

If you break these rules, we may restrict or close your account, giving you notice beforehand where reasonable.

9. Your content and ours

• Yours is yours: the ranges, notes and records you create belong to you. You only give us permission to store and process them in order to provide the service to you. You can export and delete them whenever you want.
• Ours: the app, its design, its code and the content we include (presets, range library, texts) are ours or used under licence. We give you permission to use them within PokerStudy for your personal study, not to copy or redistribute them outside it.

10. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep PokerStudy running at all times, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or faults. We may improve or change features; if a change significantly reduces what your paid Pro plan includes, we will let you know in advance and you will be able to cancel with a proportional refund. If we ever close the service, we will give you at least 30 days' notice so you can export your data, and we will refund the unused part of subscriptions.

11. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care. We are not responsible for the results you get playing poker or for the decisions you make based on the app. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law grants you as a consumer or our liability in cases where the law does not allow it to be limited.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change anything important, we will let you know by email or in the app at least 30 days in advance. If you don't agree, you can cancel and delete your account before the changes take effect.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may go to the courts of your place of residence. Before anything else, write to us at pokerstudy.soporte@gmail.com: we will try to sort it out.
